Formation of the Hawaiian Islands: Students use moʻolelo to unravel the natural phenomenon that makes the landscape of Hawaii and its organism unique.  (Plate Tectonics, Rocks, Land Formation)

Quarter 2

Environmental Impacts: Students will identify environmental impacts and understand how it affects our community and universe. (Marine Debris, Invasive vs. Native, Human Impact)

Quarter 3

Earth's Systems: Students will be able to identify Tides, Seasons, Moon phases, Patterns (Wind, currents, etc) 

Quarter 4

Earth's Place in the Universe: Students will be able to explain how the universe was made and how it is used for the tracking of information here on Earth.  (Stars, Planets, Solar Systems)
