 Dear Parent/Guardian:

 

 With the opening of the 2020-21 school year quickly approaching, we are sharing pertinent information regarding virtual learning for August 17-20. We will be following our bell schedule and ask that students follow the instructions below:

NO PERIOD 5 AND TEACHER TUTORIALS THIS WEEK

 Log into Google Classroom - Check-in with teachers

Tuesday, August 18

Wednesday, August 19

LOG INTO GOOGLE CLASSROOM FOR ALL PERIODS EXCEPT ELECTIVES:

- English and Social Studies - STAR reading assessment

- Science and Math - Google Navigation Activity

 Thursday, August 20

Friday, August 21

HOLIDAY – NO SCHOOL

 

 To support you and your child through virtual learning, the following information is available on the Wai`anae Intermediate School’s website. Click on the “Academics” tab, select “Virtual Only Learning”. On the left side of the page, you will see:

    •  August 17-20
    • How to log into Google Classroom and Google Meet
    • Schoolwide Expectations and Online Etiquette
    • How to take the STAR diagnostic test
    • How to take an AR test
    • LIVE Questions and Answer Sessions (August 19-20 ONLY)

 

Please review all the above online documents with your child. Should you have any questions or need support, you may contact our Tech Team at 305-2763 to schedule an appointment during August 17-20. If you child needs a computer, please contact our Tech Team as soon as possible.

 

Virtual instruction for all students begins on Monday, August 24 following our current bell schedule.

All students are expected to log into their teacher’s Google Classroom for every period. Please note that on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1:25-2:25 pm, teachers are available for tutorials via Google Meet.
