Although the current COVID-19 situation necessitates the closure of our campus to all student activities, we believe that learning can occur everyday in all environments.  Although we acknowledge that “Distance Learning” can never replace the school campus experience, we believe that together we can give students a rich learning experience throughout this pandemic.

Listed below are ways we can work in partnership to support every child during distance learning.

  • Maintain connection with all students through phone calls and daily Google Tutorials
  • Establish routines and helpful structure for students
  • Support student progress with timely feedback

The role of PARENT(S) AND GUARDIAN(S) is to:

  • First and foremost is to keep your family safe and healthy
  • Establish learning expectations and schedules at home
  • Monitor communication from your child’s teacher(s) and counselors at school
  • Be mindful of your child’s feeling during this very unsettling time

The role of the STUDENT is to:

  • Continue to be a good son or daughter, classmate, friend and citizen
  • Communicate ethically and effectively via phone call and/or electronically
  • Communicate with your teachers, asking for assistance when needed, calling into the daily tutorial
  • Engage in learning the enrichment opportunities provided by the elective department teachers
